Durand Library
The Durand Library is a collaboration between the Durand School and the Friends of the Durand Library. The collection includes 24,000 fiction and nonfiction books for the youngest readers up to the adults. Library users also have access to the collections of more than 138 libraries in northern and west-central Illinois through the Interlibrary Loan system.
The Friends of the Durand Library is a 501C(3) organization that maintains public hours on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Residents of the Durand CUSD 322 enjoy checkout privileges. Material is checked out for three weeks and can be renewed by email. Everyone is cordially invited to all library programs and activities.
