DESCRIPTION:United Way of Rock River Valley will participate in Beats and Bites on Thursday\, July 18\, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You can find us at the corner of State Street and Church Street (Lot 5). Stop by our table to discover more about how we’re improving literacy in Winnebago County through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. This program offers free books to all Winnebago County residents with children aged birth through 5 years old. \nWe will also have books available for your children to take home as they prepare to return to school. It’s an excellent opportunity to establish or reinforce the habit of reading for 20 minutes every day. \nSponsored by the River District Association in partnership with the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau\, Beats and Bites is a free 12-week lunch series.
